I am familiar with that initiative. Though this much more decentralized and bio-inspired simple self self-organization and emergent properties based thinking than AI aided central-planning. I’d argue that the organizational cybernetics of that day lack both the micro-economic sensors, durable information or the individual agency enabling technologies that have emerged in recent years. Some of the motivations can be compared fairly though.
